Dvarian Conquest

  • Blood Color: Yellow, as the Dvarian's have been traced back over 3 billion years to ancestors in Fluidic Space. These ancestors were possibly Species 8472.

  • Physiology: The Dinvinalin are a Reptilian/Amphibian humanoid species characterized by their blue skin, no neck, fins, and no legs. Visual, taste, and auditory acuity are high; olfactory is nearly non-existant in Dinvinalins (because they originate underwater).

Government

The Civilian Government

The Civilian Government is controlled by the Imperial Senate and the Emperor. The Imperial Senate is an elected body with one representative from each system that is in the Imperium. The representatives elect Sector Representatives. In turn, the Sector Representatives elected Quadrantial Representatives. The Quadrantial Representatives then elect Galactic Representatives. The Representative body as a whole elects one head of senate.

Protectorate Government

A system or government outside of the Dvarian Imperium's territory can ask to be made a Protectorate. A Protectorate is a system or government that wants to be protected by the Imperium. They can ask for this and can be admitted. The downside for the government is that they will need to give up some of their control over their government. The Imperial Senate will appoint a governor to oversee the government of the protectorate.

Economy

Beginnings of the Current Economy

The Dvarian Imperium was actually created upon a basis called the Galactic Trade Core. The Dvarians created the Galactic Trade Core in the late 17th century AD in Earth Years. The Galactic Trade Core flourished and the Dvarians made many allies. In the early 20th century AD, in Earth Years, the Dvarian Government restructured the Galactic Trade Core into the Dvarian Imperium. All of the former members of the Galactic Trade Core joined the Dvarian Imperium.

Structure of the Current Economy

While many cultures have lost the need for money the Dvarians continue to use it. Dvarian money is called Chrgoy. The Dvarian Imperium has a very large and centralized economy. The Dvarian Shared Ownership Market (DSOM) is the center for the Dvarian Economy. This is where corporations that have applied for shared ownership have their Ownership Percentages traded. The Market is similar to the Earth institution of Wall Street.

Shared Ownership Corporations

Although the Dvarian Economy is Free Enterprise the government has some control over it. The only thing the government does is carefully monitor the transactions occuring. It makes sure that companies are being fairly traded. The other interesting thing that the government does is regulate the admittance of a new corporation that has applied for admittance into the Dvarian Shared Ownership Market. The government first splits the company up into .1%, .05%, or .001% shares. Then 30% of the shares are offered to company owners and then 20% to the company employees to buy. When this is complete the remaining 50% of the shares are put onto the Market.

Government Funds

The government collects taxes to increase their funds. The government also searches for Latinum and othre valuable items that are mineable.

Taxes

The government collects many different types of taxes. The tax structure is constantly changing depending on the wealth demographics of the Imperium. The major types of taxes that the Imperium uses are:

  • Corporation Tax:
    • 15% profit tax on companies worth more than 100 million Chrgoy
    • 10% profit tax on companies worth between 50 and 100 million Chrgoy
    • 7% profit tax on companies worth between 1 and 50 million Chrgoy
    • 5% profit tax on companies worth between 100,000 and 1 million Chrgoy
    • 3% tax on companies worth less than 100,000 Chrgoy.
      • Note: Subsidiaries of larger companies are added in to the worth of the parent company and aren't taxed separately.
  • Property Tax:
    • 5% of total value of land per square Goalkana.
  • Income Tax:
    • 30% tax rate of total income for people that make over 10 million Chrgoy per year
    • 20% tax rate of total income for people that make between 5 and 10 million Chrgoy per year
    • 10% tax rate of total income for people that make between 500,000 and 5 million Chrgoy per year
    • 7% tax rate of total income for people that make between 100,000 and 500,000 Chrgoy per year
    • 3% tax rate of total income for people that make between 50,000 and 100,000 Chrgoy per year
    • 1% tax rate of total income for people that make between 1,000 and 50,000 Chrgoy per year
    • 0% tax rate of total income for people that earn 1,000 Chrgoy or less per year.
      • Families are taxed as a whole and their incomes added up.
  • Estate Tax, 20% of the value of an Estate is taxed.
    • A family compound or a privately owned, non-rented housing complex is taxed and an estate is created.
    • The amount of an estate tax is deducted from income tax OR property tax.

Construction

The Imperial Space Navy usually constructs its own ships. They hire the greatest designers and construction workers in the Imperium and pay them better wages than the private companies. The Imperium mines its resources and creates its own hardware. They have many scientists that work on the design of new hardware. During times of war the Imperium does pay private companies to build ships for the war effort and pays them. The Imperium also purcahses the patent and copyright to hardware that it deems necessary.

Class: M

Solar Zone: Ecosphere

Diameter: 17362 mi

Population: 18 Billion Dvarians and 10 Billion Divinalins.

Description: Dvaria is a class M world in the Ecospheric Zone orbiting Dvaria Pmrio, the Dvarian Sun. The diameter of Dvaria is 17,362 miles with 42% of the world being land and 58% being water. The total population of the planet is 15 Quadrillion. The planet has a surface area in land of 548,980,786 square miles and a total surface are of 946,518,598 square miles.

The two species that natively inhabit Dvaria are the Dvarians and the Dinvinalins who call the world Dorvilia.

The Dinvinalins inhabit the water of Dvaria and have created massive underwater cities that take up nearly 1/2 of the underwater space of Dvaria. The Dvarians officially made First Contact with the Dinvinalins when the planet shook due to a massive drill that the Dinvinalins used to drill a waterway through the core into an ocean on the other side.

The population density of Dvaria is over 63,101,239 per square mile. This is due to the fact that over 1 quadrillion people live in 3 major cities, 1 underwater, with over 4 quadrillion living in Kvalial, the capital city of Dvaria. The Dinvinalin capital of Turigo is the second largest city spanning over 100,000 levels and 170 square km of underwater land. This city contains over 2 Quadrillion People.

Kvalial is the seat of government for 3 of the 4 branches of government. The Imperial Residence, Presidential Office, and Senate Chambers are all in the core of the city. The 3 KM tall Senate Building houses the offices of all 66 senior members of the Senate as well as all 10,000+ other members of the Senate.

Dvaria 5

Class: L

Solar Zone: Cold Ecosphere

Diameter: 37362 mi

Population: 7 Billion Dvarians and 4 Billion Plasmans.

Description: Dvaria 5 is the size of Jupiter. Despite the fact that is is massive Dvaria 5 has an unusual make-up and is well suited for our Plasman allies. The 'Oceans' of Dvaria 5 are actually pools of nutrient-rich gases. While this is true Dvaria 5 also has a 30% Nitrogen 68% Oxygen Atmosphere. This Atmosphere is a little rich for Dvarians but can be adapted to easily. Dvaria 5 is the first colony of the Dvarian Imperium.

Dvaria 7

Class: O

Solar Zone: Ecosphere

Diameter: 14362 mi

Population: 15 Billion Dinvinalins and 3 Billion Dvarians.

Description: Dvaria 7 is the size of Venus. The surface is 92% water and the other 8% has a high population density. The 92% percent that is water is basically a Dilvinalin colony.

Dvaria 9

Class: C

Solar Zone: Cold Zone

Diameter: 2054 mi

Population: 6 Million Dvarians, 4 Million Iscans, and 5 Million Jourggbinay.

Description: Dvaria 9 is uninhabitable. A 'Moon Base' has been set up there as a defensive perimeter that has many weapons and is orbited by a Class 13 Starbase/Stardock. The planet is controlled by the Dvarian Imperial Spacefleet.

Population: 23 Billion Jobrilnians.

Description: Jobrilnin is home of the Jobrilnians. It is the 3rd planet from Jobrilnia and is 84% land. Jobrilnin is a leading world in the Imperial Senate. Jobrilnin has many beautiful places and has not been touched by war for a long time. Jobrilnin is a core world in the Dvarian Empire.

Iscan 3

Class: M

Solar Zone: Ecosphere

Diameter: 12463 mi

Population: 16 Billion Iscans

Description: Iscan 3 is the 3rd planet from Iscanilia. Iscan 3 is home to the Iscanlians. Iscan 3 is 29% water and is very developed with nearly no natural beauty. Iscan 3 is a core world in the Dvarian Imperium.

Viknite

Class: M

Solar Zone: Ecosphere

Diameter: 17463 mi

Population: 19 Billion Viknite and 2 Billion Dvarian Scientists.

Description: Viknite is the 2nd planet from Irandi-Sigmatus. Viknite has 67% land and has a high population density. Viknite is home to the Viknite race and is very advanced. Viknite is a core world in the Dvarian Imperium.

Jourggbinay

Class: O

Solar Zone: Ecosphere

Diameter: 14463 mi

Population: 21 Billion Jourggbinay

Description:Jourggbinay is the 4th planet from Theta-Doscius. Jourggbinay is home to the Jourggbinay race. Jourggbinay is 84% water and Jourggbinay have many underwater cities. These cities are in 'Bubbles' as the Jourggbinay are air breathers. Jourggbinay has much natural beauty. Jourggbinay is a core world in the Dvarian Imperium.

Dvarian Technologies

Fold FTL Drive

This type of FTL Drive creates a subspace fold that allows the ship to travel near infinite distances in a matter of minutes allowing most of our cruisers and ships to reach any system in any galaxy in less than five minutes.

Dvarian Pulse Disruptor Turrets

Focused on the same principle as standard pulse turrets these are installed on every large ship and ALL Space Stations.

Hyper Impulse Drive

Faster than standard Impulse Drive. Uses the same basic principle as impulse drive but allows faster travel without less time distortion.

Tricronium Armor

An experimental type of Armor that has over ten layers. Each layer dissipates after over 100 shots of our Dvarian Pulse Disruptor Turrets. Although you may think that this is not strong each layer turns into a liquid as it dissipates and is brought back into the ship and can be processed and put back onto the hull of the ship.

Dvarian Regenerative Shields

Uses a primary generator and 3 secondary generators and is constantly recharging by bringing online one of 97 tertiary reactors. This speeds up regeneration to 250 times the original regeneration speed.

Dvarian Interphasic Cloak

Uses a completely different principle than standard cloak. The Dvarian Interphasic Cloak uses the principles of a transporter and changes the matter on the ship into energy allowing it to 'phase' through solid objects. This type of cloak can be used on torpedoes but is extremely bulky and probably wouldn't be able to target well enough to be a viable weapon.

Dvarian Interphasic Torpedo

The Interphase torpedo allows the torpedo to phase through most standard shields. The power of the interphase torpedo is that of a photon torpedo. Even though this is true the Dvarian Interphasic Torpedo can cause twice the damage of a quantum torpedo because it can phase through shields and even the hulls of ships allowing it to cause great damage. Although this seems to good to be true the torpedo is still experimental and hard to build. There are not many of these torpedoes on ships (about 50 per ship) and the one with the most is a Class 13 Stardock with 3000 torpedoes.

Dvarian Trithera Power Source

The Trithera Power Source is used on all of Dvarian Ships, Space Stations, and Planetary Power Sources. The Trithera Molecule comes from the Tritheran Crystal. The Tritheran Crystal is found nowhere but in the Iscan 3 and Viknite Systems. The Asteroid Belts in all of those systems are basically belts of Tritheran Crystal. The Crystal can be synthesized. The synthesized crystals are not as efficent as the real crystals. Tritheran Crystal is not dangerous and is nearly indestructible. A Dvarian can eat Tritheran Crystal, but we don't because it tastes like crap.

Dvarian Triphasic Torpedo

The Triphasic torpedo uses the principle of Fusion. Even though it uses the basic principle of fusion the molecules used in the reaction are completely different. The Triphasic Torpedo uses a Forcefield to hold back Anti-Protons and Protons and at detonation the fields force the molecules to fuse which in turn causes them to explode with a yield 13 times that of a Quantum Torpedo. After the Interphasic Torpedoes replaced the Quantum torpedo as a secondary Torpedo and sent the Quantum to Primary the Triphasic became the tertiary torpedo. On the DVS Redemption or the flagship the Triphasic is the Primary torpedo.

  • The Plasmans - An IPD/E or InterPlanetary Defender 'Explorer' Mod is using an unusual hyper-impulse drive frequency and finds the wormhole near the Sakturian Home Galaxy (not Sakturi Home Galaxy). The ship goes through the wormhole and finds itself in the Milky Way Galaxy. When it begins a stealthy long-range scan it finds a border wall and 1 M-Class planet. The M-Class planet happens to be Hekari a Plasman colony. After learning that the Plasmans are not super powerful the fighter shares our unusual frequency and decides to bring the leader of the Plasmans to Dvaria. The meetings go well and we decide to Ally. We share our fold drive technology, hyper-impulse drive and our Tri-Cronium Armor and become The Plasman-Dvarian Alliance.

Friendly

  • Sakturia - We are very near to the Sakturia and we made First Contact. They have since seceded there systems to the First Federation and have joined with the Sanadri in taking over the Old Sakturi Territory and creating the New Sakturi Empire.
  • The Faran - The Faran are an advanced civilization with not many galaxies but many protected galaxies. We met them via FTL Fold Drive Technology.
  • The Rumani Empire - The Rumani are our friends as we met them while exploring via FTL Fold Drive
  • The Ionian League - Contact has recently been made with The Ionian League when a Dvarian Imperium exploring craft was sent to Ionian space. The Imperium has expressed sincere wishes for good relations with the Ionian League, and the Ionian Council of Seven is now deciding on the matter.
  • The Pendular - The Pendular sent envoys and we are discussing Alliance talks.
