- Although the Ionian League has multiple systems under its control, the original and most important system is the Attica system, a solar system of seven planets. The seven planets of the Attica system (ordered from smallest to greatest distance from the Attica sun) are: Miletus, Samos, Ionia, Smyma, Ephesus, Colophon, and Chios.

Samos

Description: Samos is arguably the most beautiful planets in the Attica system. Known mostly for its great sculptors, engineers, architects, and metal-workers, Samos is also famous for its unparalleled doctors and medicines. The capital of Samos is the city of Vathy, a large industrious and agricultural city that produces the famed Samarian Wine from the indigenous Vathy Grape. Samos is also the home to unparalleled doctors, medicines, and hospitals.
Ionia

Smyma

Diameter: 8132 km
Description: A vibrant metropolis midway between Miletus and Chios (making it the fourth planet from sun), Smyma is one of the most industrial planets in the Attica system. As the midpoint between planets, Smyma has the most orbiting space stations making its primary industry simply trade. Smyma cities are densely populated, but there are rural areas where their food is grown, as many people live in the orbiting stations. The capital of Smyma is Alsancak, a grand, walled acropolis of libraries and shrines (as religion is very important on Smyma), surrounded by neighboring cities. Seen from space at anytime, Smyma is so alive with activity that it emits a constant glowing light. It has been estimated that the power used on lighting alone at any given time is sufficient to power Aegis class starships.
Ephesus

Description: Fifth planet from the sun, Ephesus is a beautiful world, known for unequivocal masters of the arts. Ephesus is the solar capital of the music, theatre, culture, and various forms of art. Its capital, also called Ephesus, is also full of historic buildings, cities, and monuments. Originally a harsh outer colony, Ephesus has been transformed into, and has become the center of, all things beautiful in the Attica system.

Diameter: 10124 km
Description: Sixth planet from the sun, Colophon was originally a mining colony for starship materials. Still a major mining planet, it is now known for its ship building and designing. Among the designs of Colophon engineers are Aegis, Navigare, Celox, Actuaris, Horia, and Scapha classes. Colophon is one of the most industrial planets in the Ionian system, building more ships than the rest of the system combined, and has almost no pollution.
